Organic Hemp CBD

Everything you need to know about Organic Hemp CBD

True Pure Organics, What is organic hemp cbd, organic hemp cbd plant

Organic Hemp CBD refers to Hemp CBD oil that is sourced from organically grown hemp plants. Organic hemp must be grown in clean, healthy soil free of heavy metals and other toxins. While healthy soil is essential for all plants, it’s especially crucial for hemp because hemp tends to absorb toxins from soil.

Benefits of Organically grown Hemp CBD Oil

Hemp is a sustainable, earth-friendly plant that provides pollen for bees, butterflies, and other insects critical for our ecosystem. The products that come from the Hemp plant are environmentally responsible products that you can feel good about buying.

Growing hemp for the production of natural Hemp CBD oil contributes to a vibrant ecosystem.

Organic CBD derived from organically grown hemp is great for the environment. When pesticides are used on plants, they can kill insects that are a critical part of our ecosystem. The chemical residues left on plants may also be harmful to humans, and research into the long-term effects of pesticide use is still ongoing. Certified organic farms use natural methods to protect crops from being eaten by insects and animals.

So, when you buy organically grown hemp CBD oil, you benefit from an earth-friendly industry.

Hemp oil, or hempseed oil, is a popular remedy. Its advocates claim anecdotal evidence for curative properties ranging from improving acne to treating cancer to slowing the progression of heart disease and Alzheimer’s.

Some of these claims haven’t been proven by clinical research.

However, data suggests that hemp oil may be able to help certain health issues, such as inflammation and skin conditions. This is primarily because of its essential polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), including omega-3s and omega-6s.

Fatty acids, which we obtain from food, are vital for the normal operation of all body systems. Hemp oil contains omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids in a ratio of 3:1, which is proposed to be the ideal ratio.

Hemp oil is also a rich source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA), a type of omega-6 fatty acid.

At True Pure Organics, we’re here to help make your Organic Premium Hemp CBD experience an enjoyable and educational so you can make an informed choice about the hemp-derived products you choose. We invite you to contact us with any questions you might have about organic CBD. We’re would love to help!

Why Does Highly Concentrated Hemp CBD Oil Crystallize

True Pure Organics Why Highly Concentrated CBD Oil Tends to Crystallize (1)

Does your Hemp CBD oil vape cart have crystals?

I’m sure if this has happened to you, you are wondering if it is safe to use a crystallized vape cart?

This blog is here to explain, why it is safe and even better for you to smoke crystalized Hemp CBD.

High-quality Hemp CBD vape carts crystallize, and this does not mean that they are faulty or defective.

  • Crystallized Hemp CBD oil vape carts are NOT a sign of a defective product.
  • Crystallization of highly concentrated or high-quality Hemp CBD oil vape carts is a NATURAL and SAFE.
  • Vaping crystalized Hemp CBD oil vape carts will not harm you, your vaping tool, or the actual vape oil.
  • The formation of crystals is a POSITIVE thing and a good sign of high-quality Hemp CBD oil.

Should you throw away your crystalized vape cart?

Don’t throw your crystallized Hemp CBD vape cart out, unless you like to waste a good product and your money.

So, Why Does Highly Concentrated Hemp CBD Oil Crystallize?

What you’re seeing is actually perfectly natural, safe, and normal. You see, at such high potency, Hemp CBD will start to granulate out of the concentrate. It’s just science and the process is due to the chemical and innate properties of Hemp Hemp CBD. In fact, the higher the concentration of the Hemp CBD in the vape cart, the harder it’s to prevent the oil in the concentrate from forming crystals or hardening.

We can compare it to high-grade, natural honey. High-quality honey tends to crystallize. While inexperienced consumers might assume that the crystallized honey is spoiled or adulterated, it’s not.

What happens is that water in honey consists of more sugar (glucose & fructose) than it can naturally hold. The over concentration of sugar makes honey unstable, forcing sugar to granulate and therefore crystallize. As such, it’s only pure honey that crystallizes, and not the fake syrups you find in some stores. The same can be said about an overabundance of Hemp CBD in a vape cart solution.

We’ve spoken to experts in the field and Hemp CBD extractors and specialists, and they all agree on this. The more crystals in the vape cart concentrate, the better actually, when it comes to Hemp CBD as it’s indicative of high quality.

True Pure organics Premium Hemp CBD vape

There are two important factors for Hemp CBD to crystallize out of the oil concentrate:

(1) Temperature – The melting point for cannabidiol as a chemical compound is around 160 Fahrenheit. Since the potency is too high, the Hemp CBD might actually harden or crystallize at temperatures higher than this, which brings us to the next factor.

(2) Concentration – We’ve mentioned it a number of times, but it’s worth reiterating that Hemp CBD will tend to solidify at high concentration. The higher the potency, the more likely it’ll crystallize.

Not all molecules are created equal. Molecules of Hemp CBD and its cousin THC, as well as sugars like sucrose, fructose, and maltose, have varying tendency to dissolve or crystallize in solvents (solutions they are contained in).

It’s the alcohol (-OH) group that binds these molecules together. Table sugar (sucrose) comprises 8 alcohols per molecule, which is why it tends to crystallize faster. Hemp CBD, on the other hand, has 2 alcohols per molecule, which is one more alcohol than what THC molecules have.

Oftentimes that means that the more the molecules of Hemp CBD in a solution, the closer the alcohol (-OH) groups are.  When the temperatures are right, the alcohol groups will force the molecules to bind tightly together, forming crystals.

How Does Crystallization Show That your Vape Cart Has High-Quality CBD Oil?

Only highly pure Hemp CBD oil tends to crystallize. Anything less potent, adulterated or flimsy Hemp CBD vape carts will not crystallize unless you freeze them.

True Pure Organics provides the highest-quality full-spectrum Hemp CBD vape carts that are made with a pure organic Hemp CBD distillate. We choose to offer highly concentrated, pure Hemp CBD oil that’s additive-free. There’s no VG/PG/PEG or MCT oil.

True Pure organics Premium Hemp CBD Vape Pen

What do you do when your Hemp CBD Vape Cart Crystallizes?

Hemp CBD is equally good, safe and effective whether oil or crystals. However, we must admit that a crystallized Hemp CBD vape cart is hard to work with. Again, Hemp CBD crystals melt at approximately 160 Farenheits so your best bet is heating.

Put your vape cart in a ziplock bag or any other waterproof bag. Ensure to squeeze out as much air as possible. Run the ziplock bag under hot water for about five minutes to dissolve Hemp CBD crystals and turn them into fluid again.

Caution! Don’t use the vape cart right away because the metallic mouthpiece might still be very hot.

Benefits of CBD for Cats

Like humans and dogs, our feline friends anatomy is equipped with an endocannabinoid system. Because of this, your cat can experience a variety of health benefits from cannabinoids like CBD.

In this article, we’re going to explain how CBD works and explore the many health benefits of CBD for cats.

CBD benefits for cats. True Pure Organics

How CBD Works for Cats

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a network of receptors found throughout the central nervous system and other biological systems that can interact with cannabinoids like CBD.

By influencing these receptors with its anti-inflammatory and antipsychotic properties, studies have shown that CBD can help maintain and improve their functionality.

This interaction is what allows CBD to deliver numerous benefits to cats, such as pain relief, stress management, reduced aggression and more.

5 Health Benefits of CBD for Cats

1. Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD): This is frustratingly common in cats. CBD may help reduce inflammation and therefore symptoms. Cats with IBD may vomit, have diarrhea or may lose weight.

2. Pancreatitis: Many cats with IBD also have pancreatitis. Like IBD it can be frustrating to treat.

3. Arthritis: Cats that suffer from arthritis need all the help they can get. Unfortunately many painful cats suffer because we don’t have great pharmaceutical options that are safe.

4. Cancer: This is a popular use for CBD in both animals and people. There are many reports of longer survival times with better quality of life for both people and animals with cancer. Unfortunately, we don’t have any great studies that prove how or why this happens.

5. Asthma. Like all of the disease listed above, asthma is a common inflammatory disease of cats. Some cats have very minor symptoms that need little to no medical interventions. Other cats require life long treatment by inhaler. CBD may be a great option to help these kitties have less inflammation and therefore less asthma attacks. It is important that you never stop medications your kitty is taking before speaking with your veterinarian. If your cat needs an inhaler to breathe, don’t substitute CBD oil for their daily inhaled medications.

Side effects of CBD for Cats

The most common side effect I have seen in my patients is increased appetite and decreased anxiety. Some animals can become sedate on CBD products.

CBD can promote relaxation and some animals are more sensitive than others. If you notice your cat has become too sedate, stop giving the product and work with your veterinarian. Allergic reactions are always possible. Some cats that are allergic to grass can also be allergic to cannabis. This is rare but is a possibility.

Remember to work with your veterinarian when deciding on a treatment plan for your cat. If you would like to work with a holistic or integrative veterinarian check out these sites to find one:

CBD products might be able to offer relief for many people who have chronic pain, all without causing intoxication and dependence. Oil versions of CBD may not be as effective as other forms, and more human studies are needed.

Guide to CBD Bath Bombs

True Pure Organics Guide to Bath Bombs

Guide to CBD Bath Bombs

If you love taking baths, then you’re probably familiar with bath bombs. Their pleasing aroma and characteristic fizz add a special touch to any bath, making an already relaxing experience just that much more luxurious.

Bath bombs are a pleasant addition to any bath. They smell good, feel good, and encourage you to spend a bit more time in the bath, unwinding from a stressful day and letting you fully relax. Add some CBD into your bath bomb, and things can get even more relaxing.

If you’re interested in whether a CBD bath bomb can enhance your own bathing experience, read on. We’ll explain what CBD bath bombs are, how to use them, and everything else you need to know.

What are CBD bath bombs?

CBD Bath bombs are a wonderful mix of essential oils and CBD.

The essential oils not only lend color and scent to your bath, but they may provide unique therapeutic benefits of their own.

As for the citric acid and sodium bicarbonate, those create a chemical reaction when they encounter your bath water, producing that fizzy sensation that’s fun to watch, soothing to soak in, and calming to hear.

Like essential oils, CBD is another plant-based ingredient. It’s short for cannabidiol. Unlike THC, a more well-known cannabinoid, CBD is not psychoactive, so it doesn’t produce a high. However, a large body of research indicates it provides a wealth of health benefits, ranging from chronic pain relief to reduced anxiety.

CBD health benefits

CBD’s long list of health benefits are what make it particularly well suited to bath bombs. Working in tandem with the included essential oils, CBD may amplify the overall relaxation a bath bomb provides.

  • Pain relief: Studies have found that CBD lessens pain for individuals living with chronic pain, such as that caused by arthritis or muscle recovery. Many people incorporate CBD into their recovery process to relieve muscle pain after intense exercise. If you take baths as part of a pain management routine, adding CBD may help make the experience more effective.
  • Stress and anxiety relief: Similarly, Infusing CBD in your bath may make it easier to take your mind off your troubles.
  • Improved skin and hair health: As a natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, CBD may also offer potential benefits for skin and hair, inhibiting oil production and moisturizing dry and inflamed skin. Combining it with the essential oils of your bath bomb may amplify these effects.
  • Relaxation and general wellness: If you simply want to introduce a little bit of relaxation to your day, while experiencing the benefits of plant-based wellness, a CBD bath bomb fits the bill.

Do CBD bath bombs really work?

If you are using a product that contains real, genuine CBD oil, whether or not you find it effective largely depends on you honing in on the best dose for you. Most people find a dose of 1mg to 6mg of CBD for every 10 pounds of their body weight to be effective, depending on the severity of their symptoms.

Now, if you’re interested in how CBD works, exactly, here’s a quick overview: CBD is able to provide its health benefits through its interaction with your body’s endocannabinoid system. Put simply, the endocannabinoid system is responsible for regulating various bodily functions (like your mood, sleep, appetite, and pain) and keeping them in a state of balance. When it senses a lack of balance, it dispatches endocannabinoids to cannabinoid receptors in the appropriate system, causing a reaction that hopefully rebalances things.

Sometimes, however, this reaction isn’t enough. That’s when CBD oil can be helpful. By giving your body a surge of extra cannabinoids, you may enable your endocannabinoid system to be more effective.

Plus, bath bombs contain other naturally therapeutic ingredients, like essential oils which may improve your skin’s appearance, relieve pain, or induce relaxation. Working together with the CBD, these effects may be more powerful.

Do CBD bath bombs get you high?

No, CBD bath bombs will not get you high. Unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive, so it does not produce a high whether it’s ingested orally, inhaled, or applied topically to the skin (as with a bath bomb).

You might begin feeling a general sense of relaxation or tiredness when they first start using CBD. Fortunately, those are the effects you want to experience when using a bath bomb.

The only folks who should avoid using CBD include children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and people taking other medications. Simply not enough studies have been done to evaluate the safety of CBD among these populations, and in the case of pregnant women and people on other medications, there are some studies indicating it could produce adverse effects.

Are CBD bath bombs legal?

Yes, CBD bath bombs are legal. In 2018, the government passed the 2018 Farm Bill, which legalized industrial hemp at a federal level, as well as any CBD oil extracted from it. CBD oil is typically sourced from industrial hemp because this variety of the cannabis plant naturally contains higher amounts of CBD.

Not only is industrial hemp a good source of CBD, but it contains 0.3% THC or less. That helps keep it legal, while also preventing it from producing a high in the user.

What’s the Difference between CBD for Pets and CBD for Humans?

True Pure Organics Premium Hemp CBD Difference between CBD for pets and CBD for humans

If you’re an animal lover and a pet owner, you probably want to give your pet the very best.

Whether you’re a loyal dog lover or cat lover, pets are more than just companions.

They’re our best friends.

CBD oil can be extremely beneficial for pets, and it’s doing wonders to improve the lives of pets and humans a like.

What’s the Difference Between CBD for Pets vs. CBD for Humans?

In humans, the properties of CBD are realized by the way the cannabinoid interacts with the endocannabinoid system (ECS).

Endocannabinoids and cannabinoid receptors are found throughout the entire body and are considered the “bridge between body and mind.”

All animals, vertebrates and invertebrates are known to have an ECS.

This means CBD affects our animals in much the same way it affects us.

The endocannabinoid system is responsible for the following functions in both humans and our pets:

  • Muscle movement.
  • Mood regulation.
  • Memory.
  • Balance and coordination.
  • Appetite.
  • Digestive system function.

True Pure Organics, Benefits of Pet CBD

CBD and Your Pet’s Endocannabinoid System

When our ECS is functioning properly, our bodies achieve ultimate balance and well-being.

Knowing that our pets all have an ECS just like we do, it makes sense that CBD would affect us both similarly.

When you give your pet CBD, it is first metabolized and then can go to work in the ECS.

CBD is just as beneficial for pets as it is for humans.

What’s the Difference Between CBD for Pets vs. CBD for Humans?

There are several pet-specific CBD products that are available on the market, from CBD treats and CBD tinctures that can easily be added to your pet’s food.

There is no difference between CBD for Pet products and the CBD oil you use for yourself.

Except dosage and added ingredients like essential oils.

One area where there are no differences between humans and doggies is that CBD is a safe and effective treatment for myriad ailments, is thought to be a nervous system protectant and an appetite stimulant among many other things.

Above all, no matter if you are a human or a pet, CBD is an excellent anti-inflammatory. Inflammation is the cause of most aches, pains and even ailments out there. CBD is a medicine that you or wo/man’s best friend should take on a regular basis if needed so that it can be constantly working its magic and building up in the body’s system, whether two or four legged.

Using CBD Oil for Pets

Can you use CBD oil intended for humans on your pets?

Sure. In fact, many people experimenting with CBD oil on their pets will start out by giving them some of their own. If you find out that CBD benefits your pet and you want to make it part of their regular diet, using CBD oil designed specifically for pets is recommended.

Why?

CBD pet oil tinctures have been specially formulated with pets in mind. The CBD oil you take is likely much stronger than pet CBD oil. Giving your pets the exact serving size they need could be a bit more complicated than simply serving yourself. This is why giving your pets oil made specifically for them is always recommended. Human products may also have ingredients that could harm your pet, such as essential oils.

What Is CBD? How Does It Work?

True Pure Organics Premium Hemp CBD Oil. What is CBD and How does it work?

What is CBD oil?

CBD is an abbreviation of a cannabinoid in the hemp plant. CBD is the abbreviation of Cannabidiol. Many do not know what a cannabinoid is and often wonder what CBD is. However, there are more than 60 different cannabinoids in the hemp plant, of which CBD is only one of them, therefore, the question should be “What are cannabinoids?”. THC is also a cannabinoid extracted from the hemp plant, and it is precisely this that gives it the euphoric effect we know.

Therefore, oils with THC are often illegal unless the oil contains a THC value of less than 0.03% according to a USA regulation. The reason it’s called CBD oil is relatively simple, and that is because the most prominent cannabinoid in CBD oil is CBD, which gives CBD oil its name.

CBD has no euphoric side effects like THC, but on the other hand, it has other effects on the body.

How does CBD work?

All cannabinoids, including CBD, are integrated with specific receptors in our body, thus achieving a special effect.

When someone takes CBD, the compound goes into your system and to the endocannabinoid system (ECS) which is made up of receptors throughout the body and brain. … The role of the endocannabinoid system is to bring balance to our tissues, including the heart, digestive, endocrine, immune, nervous, and reproductive systems.

Where and when does CBD actually occur in the body?

CB1 receptors are found most frequently in the brain and in our central nervous system. Receptors can also be found throughout the human body, but most are found around the brain. CB1 receptors in the brain focus primarily on coordinating our movements, appetite, pain, mood, emotions, etc.

An example; If you have smoked hash, you have probably experienced increased hunger, mood swings, etc., which causes your CB1 receptors to have absorbed cannabinoid THC.

CB2 receptors are often found in our immune system and in more cells in our body. CB2 receptors have a particular effect on inflammation and pain. It is known that CB2 receptors capture mainly the CBD cannabinoid. This is the reason why CBD seems to reduce pain and be anti-inflammatory. CBD oil can be used against pain, inflammation, etc.

CBD oil against pain: effect of CBD oil on pain relief

So, how does CBD relieves pain, how can I use it?

An effect of CBD oil affects the body in a special way, and CBD oil can, therefore, have various health effects. CBD oil can be taken in several different ways, the oral method, under the tongue, is the most commonly used, this is due to the particular mucous membranes under the tongue, where the oil is absorbed more quickly. In addition, CBD oil can also be applied to the skin.

Effect of CBD oil on pain relief and inflammation

Does CBD have more side effects than analgesics from a local pharmacy?

The answer is no! Many people currently use pain relief preparations, bought at the local pharmacy.

These preparations are the most common for chronic pain, stiffness and muscle cramps, and these preparations are often accompanied by many side effects.

CBD is a natural medicine where the effect of CBD oil through studies has been tested and documented to relieve pain without almost as many side effects. A study published in the Journal of Experimental Medicine found that CBD oil had a special effect on chronic inflammation and pain.

Only this particular effect of CBD oil on chronic inflammation and pain can help many people that suffer from sclerosis and fibromyalgia today.

Epilepsy and other neurological diseases: effect of CBD oil

CBD oil has an effect on our cannabinoid system that is part of our nerves and brain. Here, a study has found that CBD oil has a special effect in the treatment of epilepsy. CBD oil has some special effects on epilepsy drops, which many suffer from people with epilepsy.

This, however, applies not only to epilepsy, but other neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s, that CBD oil has a positive effect on.

A study published by Current Pharmaceutical Design found that CBD had similar effects on medications that people with mental disorders are now using.

Effect of CBD oil: CBD oil against anxiety

Many people currently suffer anxiety and social anxiety, and its associated consequences.  CBD oil is a good natural product because it does not have a euphoric side effect like THC.

Effect of CBD oil against acne

One of the recent discoveries about CBD oil is that CBD oil has a positive effect on acne. People get acne because their skin experiences inflammation of the sebaceous glands on the skin. A study published by the Journal of Clinical Investigation found that CBD fades sebum production, which leads to inflammation. CBD may be the skin problem solution in the future.

CBD products might be able to offer relief for many people who have chronic pain, all without causing intoxication and dependence. Oil versions of CBD may not be as effective as other forms, and more human studies are needed.

Should You Add CBD To Your Coffee?

True Pure Organics Premium Hemp CBD. CBD and Coffee

There is a very popular trend growing these days and it’s CBD-infused coffee or tea promising amazing health benefits. But does adding CBD to your coffee really make a difference? And more importantly, is it safe?

While mixing CBD and caffeine may seem to be just another passing trend, there are some genuine reasons why people are combining their favorite morning drink with CBD.

People who combine CBD with coffee report that it can take the jittery edge off a caffeine high. It has also been reported that with the addition of CBD, caffeine drinkers experience a reduction in anxiety that they would have felt if they had not taken CBD. Overall, the mixture of CBD and caffeine leads to a focused burst of energy, without any of the negatives that are often associated with daily caffeine consumption.

CBD and Your Body

CBD oil, or cannabidiol, is extracted from the Cannabis sativa plant. CBD is one of over 100 phytocannabinoids in cannabis and is one of the most heavily researched. CBD, and other phytocannabinoids like tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), are very similar in structure to the body’s own endocannabinoids, allowing them to target cannabinoid receptors in the neurological and central nervous systems.

Unlike THC, CBD oil will not get you high.

Caffeine and Your Body

A beloved pick-me-up amongst 64% of Americans, coffee has mixed effects. A stimulant of the central nervous system, the most noticeable effect of caffeine is a nearly immediate increase in alertness and energy. Too much caffeine can also leave you with headaches and nausea, not to mention the moodiness and fatigue associated with the “crash” once the caffeine starts to wear off.

CBD oil and caffeine have become such a popular pairing because the negative side effects of caffeine consumption are canceled by the body’s interaction with CBD.

What Does Science Say About CBD and Caffeine?

CBD oil only recently became legalized in the majority of US states, thanks to the passing of the 2018 Farm Bill. Until then, it was lumped in with marijuana as a “controlled substance,” making it nearly impossible for researchers to investigate its benefits legally. Because of this, science is playing catch up with what is now widely accepted as a supplement with a wide array of health benefits.

It’s important to note, the World Health Organization has conducted research on CBD oil and concluded that CBD oil has a good safety profile and is well tolerated by the majority of people.

Before You Mix CBD Oil with Caffeine…

Before you put your barista hat on, make sure you’re aware of the legalities of CBD oil in your state. While the vast majority of states have legalized CBD oil, there are a few outliers.

While CBD is generally well tolerated and free from any negative side effects, it has been known to interact with some common pharmaceuticals, such as particular antidepressants and antibiotics. Regardless of whether you’re taking medication or not, speak to your doctor before you start adding CBD oil to your daily routine.

CBD Oil and Hot Coffee…

Studies published in the past have shown that CBD degrades when exposed to heat, potentially losing some of its potency. As such, choosing an iced drink or simply allowing your hot coffee or tea to cool for a bit will yield better results, as the CBD oil will be more potent. The ideal situation would be using a CBD Vape Pen, this way you avoid loosing any beneficial properties your CBD may have.

Can Cannabis Help Open the Seven Chakras?

True Pure Organics Can Cannabis open the chakras

Holistic health is a big trend right now, and the widespread normalization of cannabis is playing to that piqued interest in the mind-body connection.

People everywhere are looking for ways to enhance their spirituality, and become healthier as a result.

Using cannabis definitely can be a spiritual experience, but can specific strains really have measurable effects on the seven chakras?

The chakras are the seven energetic centers of the body. They can be activated through a variety of means: meditation, mantras, intention, prayer, and also food and lifestyle. Herbs—and cannabis—are a big part of that.

Activating the Chakras seems to be related directly to the typical terpene profiles of different strains. Many cannabis terpenes are also found in herbs and essential oils, which have been used therapeutically since ancient times.

What does Ayurvedic medicine have to say about the effects of these phytochemicals on the chakras?

If anything, terpenes will relate to the first and second chakras—the ones that control the realms of smell and taste, respectively. In Ayurvedic medicine, herbs are not the end-all; it all comes down to intent. The effect of a strain depends on the intention of the grower, the processors, the retailer, and ultimately the consumer and what they want their results to be.

Cannabis has a dualistic nature. It can do two things: help you feel grounded and balanced, or ground you too much, causing sluggishness, fatigue, or anxiety. Generally, yes—an indica will cause sleepiness, so it may be said to activate the first chakra, keeping us grounded. However, someone who is already a bit of a sloth may experience a disturbance from a heavy indica strain.

Based on what we know now, how cannabis affects every individual is a very individualized experience.

Therapeutic benefits of cannabis are directly correlated to our intention—and this has been measured as a placebo effect. The spiritual aspect of using cannabis, which has been used medicinally for thousands of years, cannot be ignored.

Dogs, fireworks and CBD

True Pure Organics Premium Hemp CBD Oil Dogs, Fireworks and CBD

Dogs are more sensitive to Fireworks.
Help your dog feel more comfortable during celebrations with CBD.

Some pet owners are now turning to cannabis to keep their animals calm during those noisy Independence Day fireworks.

One owner says her dog panted and barked during fireworks until she tried CBD – a non-psychoactive cannabinoid extracted from marijuana plants that users say has a calming effect.

Dr. Gregory Berns, a neurobiologist specializing in canine behavior, during explosions or fireworks. Berns notes that dogs have “no ability to rationalize their anxiety, and may suffer a more raw and intense form of terror.” even for those who are lucky to be in indoors, for homeless dogs the detonation of firecrackers near them can damage their hearing irreversibly.

The reasons why some dogs suffer and others don’t is not very well known. The acquired patterns are shuffled (hunting dogs, for example, become used to loud noises from shotgun detonations, but it may also be related hearing loss). A study by the University of Bristol indicated that approximately half of urban dogs suffer from any of the symptoms related to explosions of firecrackers.

A larger study by the University of Oslo pointed out that firecrackers and fireworks are the main causes of terror, ahead of other loud noises, thunder from storms and traffic noise.

What can I do if my dog is afraid?

Although there is still no conclusive data, one of the most repeated tips is to show calm and comfort the animal. If the owner is stressed or nervous about the behavior of the dog, things can get even worse for the dog.

Even worse if the dog is alone when the firecrackers sound, because the fear of them is often linked to other anxiety and dependency disorders.

Can CBD help my pets cope during Fireworks?

The answer is yes.

Certain cannabinoids produced by cannabis, such as CBD (cannabidiol) can help our pets, which like us have receptors that respond to their presence.

But how can CBD help our animals?

Cannabinoids influence various aspects such as the feeling of appetite or pain, stress or anxiety, so it would potentially be of great help when it comes to achieving better health for our beloved companions.

Finding the best way to administer CBD to our pets is relatively easy; we have seen that the main difference between dogs and cats is that in the case of the latter it is more comfortable to do it with oils, which can be mixed with their usual food or treats (something that of course can also be done in the case of cats) or administered directly orally.

However, given the lack of sufficient research in this regard, finding the right dose of CBD may be somewhat more complicated. Of course, the first thing to do is to consult with the veterinarian, he knows your pet’s medical history better than anyone else. With luck, he or she will be able to guide you when it comes to finding the right extract and dosage. In any case, it should always be started with very low doses that would be increased little by little if necessary.
